Barack Obama

Barack Obama is an American politician and attorney who served as the 44th President of the United States from 2009 to 2017. He was born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Obama's political career began in the Illinois State Senate, where he served from 1997 to 2004. In 2004, he was elected as a U.S. Senator from Illinois, becoming the fifth African American senator in U.S. history.

In 2008, Barack Obama successfully ran for the presidency, becoming the first African American to be elected to the highest office in the United States. He was re-elected for a second term in 2012.

As President, Barack Obama implemented a range of policies and initiatives.
